Why should I buy from www.snazzyit.com?
At Snazzy IT we want to offer our customers our unique Specialised Service.
Every laptop we sell has been individually checked and setup by a member of our dedicated tech staff.
We want you to find your laptop ready to use straight out of the box, without having to waste time getting it into a useable condition.
To that end, our tech staff have checked to make sure,
- It's 100% working before it leaves our shop
- There are no scratches, scrapes, dents or cracks
- Any annoying trial software has been removed
- The latest Windows Updates and Service Packs are applied
- Your Anti-Virus software is up-to-date
We hope these checks help you feel that you are buying from a company that cares about the quality of our products.

What are your opening hours?
Our normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, except UK public holidays.
Can I call Snazzy IT to place an order?
At the moment we would prefer that you use our online ordering and payment system. This may change in the future though, so if you would prefer to order over the phone please come back soon.
Can I get advice on which product to purchase?
If you require advice on which product to buy, please see the Contact Us page for our contact details. We would be pleased to assist in matching you with the correct product for your needs.
What options are there for payment of my order?
Payment can be made online using PayPal.
If you have a PayPal account you can complete your payment using your PayPal account details.
If you do not have a PayPal account, PayPal will allow you to complete your online payment using a credit card or debit card.
Is it safe to make payments through your shop online?
Yes, it is completely safe to make payments online. When you complete your checkout process and pay via PayPal, you will be taken to the PayPal site to complete your online payment details.
We deliver to all parts of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
How do I know what the delivery charge will be?
The cost for delivery will be clearly shown during the checkout process.
How long will it take for my item(s) to arrive?
Your order will usually be processed and shipped within one working day.
Once your order has been dispatched we cannot directly control how long it will take to arrive, however in most cases items will arrive within one working day of being dispatched.
Can I change my delivery address?
As part of the payment authorisation process your address will be verified. So to help to prevent fraud, we cannot change the delivery address of your order after it has been submitted.
What will happen if I'm not there to take delivery?
If no one is available when delivery is attempted, a card will be left by the delivery company with information letting you know how to arrange another delivery.
Can you deliver to my work address?
During the checkout process you can choose to have your order delivered to an address other than your home address.
Do you ship outside the UK?
We currently only ship to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
How do I track my orders?
There are two methods of tracking an order.
If you have setup a customer account, you can see details of your current and past orders.
You can also check the status of an order by navigating to the Order Status page and entering your order number and email address.
Can I view my previous orders?
If you login to your customer account, you can see all the details of all previous orders.
Can I pick up the item in your store?
Yes. If you would like to pick up your item from our Coleraine shop please add a suitable note in the Special Instructions box during the checkout process.
When we receive your order we will contact you to arrange a suitable day and time for collection of your item from our shop.
How do I cancel an order?
If you decide to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Do I have to create an account to be able to shop with Snazzy IT?
While you will have a simpler checkout experience if you have created a customer account, it is not necessary to create an account in order to purchase an item.
What happens if there is a problem with my product when it arrives?
If your item arrives and the packing material is sufficiently damaged to suggest that the item itself may be damaged, you are entitled to refuse delivery.

We will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Can you let me know more about your laptops?
To provide you with the best value for money, the majority of our laptops are sourced from Dell Outlet. The Outlet is a means of Dell reselling laptops which have been cancelled customer orders or customer returns. There are a number of different grades of Dell Outlet laptops and we only choose the best quality Dell Certified Refurbished laptops available. Certified Refurbished means that the laptops have been retested by Dell and meet all the standards of original factory quality specifications. Dell provide a minimum of 1 year limited Collect & Return warranty with their Outlet laptops.
How are your laptops prepared?
Our goal is to prepare every laptop so that it is ready to be used by the customer straight out of the box.
Every laptop we receive is put through a thorough process of quality verification and preparation for sale by our dedicated technical staff. This process comprises a number of steps, including;
Visual inspection:
Checks to make sure there are no scatches, scrapes, dents or other visible marks on the laptop.
Functionality:
The laptop is powered up and all of the hardware specs are checked to ensure accuracy. Each of the important hardware devices are also checked to make sure they function correctly, for example, keyboard, trackpad, LCD screen, webcam (if present). The battery is tested, and as part of the preparation a full charge is applied to the battery.
Software:
One of the ways that Dell are able to offer lower prices to their customers is through installing trial or evaluation versions of 3rd party software on their computers as part of the standard software build. In our experience, this can cause confusion and/or annoyance to customers, for example, they might initially be happy that their laptop comes with an anti-virus program, but they then find that after a short period of time the evaluation period has ended and they are being asked to pay additional money to keep their software running.
Our approach is different. To ensure the easiest customer experience, we keep installed the full versions of software that we think customers will need and use. We uninstall trial or evaluation software and replace it with freeware versions of equivalent software.
At the time of preparing the laptop, any available Microsoft Windows updates are applied to ensure the operating system is as up-to-date as possible. There may of course be additional updates available by the time our customers receive their laptops, but Windows will be setup to automatically download and install these updates.
Do all products include a warranty?
In most cases, there will be a manufacturer warranty for a given period of time.
Items sold as 'Reconditioned' by Snazzy IT / Torrens Training & IT Services will have a warranty provided by Snazzy IT / Torrens Training & IT Services for a given period of time.

Do I have to setup a Snazzy IT account to order items?
While you will have a simpler checkout experience if you have created a customer account, it is not necessary to create an account in order to purchase an item.
How do I set up an account with Snazzy IT?
On the Customer Login page, simply click the New Account button and enter your Name, email address and a password to be used on this site.
How Do I Change My Password for My Account on Snazzy IT?
When you login to your account using your existing customer details, you can amend any of your account details, including your password.

What Do I Do If I Have Forgotten my Login Password?
On the Customer Login page, there is a button labelled 'Forgot Password'. This button will allow you to request your password from our system. An email containing your password will be sent to your registered email address.
